At the heart of the experience are their signature cemitas, which are a feast for the senses. Made with freshly baked, crunchy bread and generously filled with a variety of meats, melty quesillo (Oaxacan cheese), and vibrant vegetables, these sandwiches are a celebration of flavor. Took a drive to East LA to try this truck last night. Super friendly team and you can watch them assemble your cemita right in front of you. They have a nice set up with tents tables and chairs too. This meal took me back to Puebla (except the view of the 60 freeway). Cemita with milanesa de res quesillo chipotle papalo and like an entire avocado. So good and so messy. Go get one! Cemitas Poblanas El Chivo On the corner of S. Eastern and Gleason. Plenty of street parking.

A-friekin-mazing! Best cemitas i have ever had. I rarely eat red meat, so I opted for the milanesa de pollo cemita. The layers of vegetables added multiple flavors that elevated the cemita's bite experience. Onions, avocado, oaxacan cheese, epazote, chipotle, and pickled, small sweet red peppers....wow! The cemita bread was a bit crunchy. You can definitely share a cemita, but why would you want to share it? We tried a taco arabe and decided this business shines with their cemitas. We wouldn't order taco arabes again, but cemitas heck, yes.

Best cemita in all of LA hands down! The quality of the meats and the types of products they use are amazing. Here, they prepare the cemita with generous portions of meat, cheese (quesillo), chipotle and avocado that the portion ends up being bigger than the bread itself. The milanesa (breaded beef steak) is the classic but the carne árabe (shawarma) is my favorite. The carne árabe is seasoned well and it is not dry at all. They also offer tacos, burritos and quesadillas so options are plenty here. Now, the tricky thing about this place is the wait. The service here is amazing (the workers preparing the food are amazing, hard workers and ensure that each dish is prepared to your liking) but the wait time can take a while. If you get here early you'll probably have a limited wait. If you get here at peak time it'll probably be like an hour wait. So, be prepared to wait, or place your order, head down to coffee bean and grab a coffee and then come back, or bring some drinks and hang out by your car. Parking is plentiful (street parking).

I've been craving a milanesa for 7 years now and when I found out they had them in LA, I had to check them out. Got here Saturday night and there was a line ahead of us. We placed an order of 5 milanesas and tacos, and it was not a long wait at all. Everyone here is super nice, working super fast to get the customers' food out. They also have a lot of self-serve/unlimited toppings. This location is extremely generous in their food portions, and really nice. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
